Phase 01 · Scope

Defining the scope

We start with a demonstration and a conversation. You see what's possible, working in a real house, rather than described in a proposal, and once you understand your options we build a specification around what you actually want, need and are willing to spend.

• Where would you enjoy listening to music?
• Which rooms should have lighting control?
• How many televisions should we plan for?
• Where should the cameras cover?
• Where do the access points need to land for whole-home WiFi?

Phase 02 · Pre-wire

Wiring

We run every wire the specification calls for while the house is framed and open. Where we see an opportunity to future-proof, we raise it with you on site — this is the last and cheapest moment to change your mind.

• Have we planned enough access point locations?
• Are there blind spots the cameras will not cover?
• Is there conduit where a future change would need it?
• What else is worth doing now rather than never?

Phase 03 · Finish

Finish work

Once the walls are painted, the cabinetry is in and the electrician has permanent power, we come back to terminate, install, test and commission.

• Wires terminated at both ends, labeled and tested
• Network equipment installed, configured and connected
• Speakers, amplifiers, televisions, cameras and touchscreens installed
• Customization, personalization and handover training

Phase 04 · Support

Ongoing support

Every new home includes a year of premium 24/7 support. After that there are five service plans with published prices, so you can decide what level of coverage you want with the numbers in front of you.

• Proactive monitoring, so we usually know before you do
• Off-site configuration backups of every system
• A complete written record of the house, kept current
• Published rates for nights, weekends and holidays
