Mountain Retreat

An elegant cabin in the remote hills of the Wasatch Back with full Savant control and distributed audio inside and out.

Great Room is outfitted with four Artison 8-Inch In-Ceiling Speakers powered by Savant SmartAudio. A Ubiquiti WiFi Antenna hides behind the artwork and there is a Savant 8-Inch Touchscreen for control. Savant WiFi Lighting and Lamp modules as well as integrated Savant control of the Somfy Shades.

Twelve radiant zones alongside four forced-air zones, all under one system — the kind of coordination that only works when the control platform and the wiring were planned together.

Distributed audio through the interior and exterior makes background music part of the room rather than an event you have to set up.

Seven access points cover a building whose construction is actively hostile to wireless signal, which is why they were positioned during the pre-wire rather than guessed at afterwards.
