Automated shades that manage light, privacy and heat load — and in Utah, protect what the sun would otherwise fade.

Kitchen and Dining Room are equipped with four Artison 8-Inch In-Ceiling Speakers powered by Savant SmartAudio. The rooms also have full Savant WiFi Lighting and Climate Control with a 5.5-Inch Savant Touchscreen for Control.

Automated shades handle three problems at once: glare, privacy and temperature. Scheduled or triggered by the sun's position, they keep interiors cooler in summer and hold heat in winter.

In this part of the country the sun is unusually punishing, and shades are as much about protecting floors, furniture and art as they are about comfort.

Great Room is outfitted with four Artison 8-Inch In-Ceiling Speakers powered by Savant SmartAudio. A Ubiquiti WiFi Antenna hides behind the artwork and there is a Savant 8-Inch Touchscreen for control. Savant WiFi Lighting and Lamp modules as well as integrated Savant control of the Somfy Shades.

Kitchen is equipped with four Artison 8-Inch In-Ceiling Speakers with Audio through Savant SmartAudio. A Savant WiFi Thermostat, full Savant WiFi Lighting, a 5.5-Inch Savant Touchscreen and Savant Contact Closure control of the Woodstone Pizza Oven provides full local and remote control.

Master Bathroom has two Artison 8-Inch In-Ceiling Speakers with Savant Music. A Savant WiFi Thermostat, full Savant WiFi Lighting and Savant Control of Somfy Shades rounds out the Smart Home equipment.

Guest Bedroom is outfitted with two Artison 8-Inch In-Ceiling Speakers powered by Savant SmartAudio. A 55-Inch Samsung TV is installed above the fireplace and a Ubiquiti WiFi Antenna in the closet. Full Savant WiFi Lighting Control for Room and Accent Lights with a Savant WiFi Thermostat and Multi-stat for climate control.

Master Bedroom has a 65-Inch Samsung Frame TV with two Artison 8-Inch In-Ceiling Speakers for Audio. The room is also equipped with full Savant WiFi Lighting and Lamp control. With a Savant 8-Inch Touchscreen and Lutron Pico Controller, scenes and room control are at your fingertips.

One of the other most common areas for a Savant Touchscreen is in the Master Bedroom. This example is a surface-mount White 8-Inch Touchscreen.
